Beta 2 of MacOS 10.14.2 and iOS 12.1.1 Released for Testing
Apple has released the second beta versions of iOS 12.1.1 and MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 for users participating in the Apple system software beta testing programs.
The beta software updates are available now for users in both the developer beta and the public beta testing programs for iOS and MacOS.
Separately, Apple has also released a new beta version of watchOS 5.1.2 and tvOS 12.1.1 for users running beta software on Apple Watch and Apple TV, respectively.
Presumably iOS 12.1.1 beta and macOS 10.14.2 beta are working on resolving specific bugs or issues with prior system software releases, as there is no clear indication that any major new change or feature is included in the current beta builds, though that could always change by the time the final versions are available to the general public.
Users enrolled in the beta testing program for iOS can find the latest iOS 12.1.1 beta 2 build available now from the Software Update mechanism of the Settings app.
Those enrolled in the MacOS Mojave beta testing program can find the macOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta 2 build available now from the Software Update control panel in System Preferences.
WatchOS and TvOS betas can be updated on eligible devices through their respective Settings apps as well.
The most recently available stable versions of Apple system software are currently iOS 12.1 for iPhone and iPad, and macOS 10.14.1 for Macs running Mojave. Select Macs may also find a later Supplemental Update for macOS 10.14.1 available as well.
